Abstract:
In order to ensure the accuracy of the endoscope image measurement, theoretically the image optical axis should maintain vertical with the object plane. In fact, certain amount of tilt exists between the optical axis and the object plane, which is called vertical tilt. To minimize the influence of the vertical tilt, an approach for image vertical tilt correction based on the fixed cursor is presented in this paper. This approach uses the tilt information of the optical axis from the fixed cursor's position to correct the image. Experiment result shows that this approach for image vertical tilt correction reaches accurate result.
