Abstract: The propagation expression of Cosine-Gauss broadband laser with rectangle spectrum passing through thin lens is deduced based on the diffraction integral.Intensity distributions at the focal plane are studied and variations of intensity distributions on bandwidth are analyzed by numerical calculations.The results show that the transverse intensity distributions decrease when the bandwidth increases with small Fresnel number.However,effects of the bandwidth on the transverse intensity distributions decrease when the Fresnel number increases.
