Research on Key Technologies of Shipboard LED Searchlight

The advantage of the LED light source application on shipboard searchlight is analyzed in this paper.The key technologies are studied.By using CPC and TIR focusing principle separately,a second optical design on the packaged LED light source is conducted.The corresponding optical model is established.By comparing the final simulation results,the advantages and disadvantages are both analyzed,which provide references for the shipboard searchlight application.
